Terms & conditions

Last updated:

These terms apply to all quotes, orders, deliveries and works by Sanioutlet Curaçao, located at Veeris B2, Willemstad, Curaçao. By accepting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

  • Sanioutlet: Sanioutlet Curaçao, based in Curaçao.
  • Client: the natural or legal person entering into an agreement with Sanioutlet.
  • Agreement: the written or verbal arrangement covering delivery and/or installation of sanitary ware and related works.
  • Services: showroom advice, on-site measurement, design, delivery and installation.

2. Quotes

Our quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Prices are in Netherlands Antillean Guilders (ANG) or US Dollars (USD), as indicated on the quote. Interim price increases by suppliers (due to exchange rates or import costs) may be passed on up to the moment of deposit, with prior notice.

3. Formation of the agreement

The agreement comes into effect when the client accepts the quote in writing (email, signature) and pays the first deposit.

4. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • 30% deposit on order confirmation
  • 40% on delivery of materials at the showroom or client site
  • 30% on handover, after client approval

Payment term: 7 days from invoice date. Late payment will incur statutory interest and any collection costs.

5. Delivery

Lead times are indicative, based on information from our suppliers. Sea freight to Curaçao may cause delays beyond our control (port strikes, hurricane season, customs procedures). Such delays do not give the client the right to dissolve the agreement or claim damages unless gross negligence applies on our side.

6. Retention of title

All delivered products remain the property of Sanioutlet until the full purchase price has been paid.

7. Installation and handover

Installation is carried out by our selected installation partners. The client ensures access to the workspace, functional electricity and water connections, and sufficient working space on the agreed start date.

Handover takes place by appointment. Any complaints or open points are documented together and resolved within a reasonable period.

8. Warranty

  • Products: manufacturer warranty of the supplier (typically 2–10 years). We arrange replacements under warranty.
  • Installation work: 12 months on installation, covers installation faults.
  • Silicone and sealants: 6 months — beyond that it is normal maintenance.

The warranty does not apply in case of misuse, insufficient maintenance, damage by third parties or natural disasters (hurricane, flood).

9. Liability

Sanioutlet is only liable for direct damage resulting from attributable failure in the performance of the agreement. Liability is limited to the amount paid out by our liability insurance, and in any case to the invoice amount of the relevant order.

We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profits, missed savings or non-material damage.

10. Complaints

Complaints about delivered products or executed work must be reported in writing within 14 days of discovery via info@sanioutlet-curacao.com. We respond within 5 business days. If we cannot resolve it together, the dispute may be brought before the competent court in Curaçao.

11. Cancellation

Cancellation of an order after deposit is possible against reimbursement of costs already incurred (ordered products, design hours, reserved installation capacity). Up to 7 days after order confirmation, changes can be made free of charge; thereafter, planning and cost consequences may apply.

12. Governing law

These terms and all agreements with Sanioutlet are governed by the law of Curaçao. Disputes are submitted exclusively to the competent court in Curaçao.

13. Changes

We reserve the right to amend these terms. Amendments do not apply retroactively to ongoing orders. The date at the top of this page shows the latest change.
